This is a nice park for an overnight or a couple down days during a long trip. We had a pull thru with trees and bushes on each side. WI-FI worked well (sometimes a little slow). Could only get 2 channels on TV, but what the heck sitting outside, enjoying the fresh air and a good book is OK by me. Previous post talked about side by side back in's. I have to say these are not good sites, if you are unlucky to get the right side you have to run your utilities under your trailer because the hook up is on the left (bring extra hose and cord) otherwise ask for a pull thru or look for another campground. All in all we enjoyed our overnight here very much.

This is a very nice campground for a visit to the area. It is 15 miles from Little Bighorn Battlefield, and 1 mile from town. The owners are very nice. The sites are side-by-side so your driver's side is very close to your neighbor. We pulled in and they put us next to someone, but the park was pretty much empty, so I asked if we could be put in a spot with more room. They were very accommodating and moved us to site 16 which is on a corner with trees, very nice. The Wi-Fi worked great, and it was nice to have cable. There are some 50 amp sites, but not many. We would definitely stay again, if in the area.

This is a very nice park, the staff are very friendly and helpful. Beautiful landscaped sites, level sites, perfect place to tour Yellowstone Park. Wi-Fi works very slow, sometimes cannot send a message at all. This park is busy, I was told that after labor day you can get in with no problem. I made reservations a long time before I got here just because I did not want to take a chance. It was a good thing, because this park was booked every night we were here (4 nights) people were turned away. Take my advice if you are going to be here 1 - 15 Sep, make reservations. Again a great park.

This is probably the least desirable park we have stayed in. It is convenient to Cody, but the sites are close, with dirt roads and lots of dust. The back-in sites are really small yet they will put a 34-36 ft 5th wheel in them. It has Wi-Fi that works good, but not excellent. There is a Park store, and the staff is friendly and helpful. This is OK for an overnight, but not for an extended stay.

Don't let the picture on their web fool you, it is not a resort: it is an older hotel with the RV park in the rear. Even though the staff was friendly and helpful, the main positive thing for this RV park is the location. It is close to downtown and easy to get to the Teton National Park for your auto tour. Wi-Fi was non-existent, even if you pay the $2 a day fee. The roads are full of pot holes and bumps (probably bad after a rain). Half the dryers were out of order and the sites are real close. The sewer hook-up is 7 to 8 inches above ground so the sewer hose was up hill to the trailer: so when emptying, had to milk the hose several times to empty tanks. They make a lot of money off this park and put very little back into maintenance. By far the worse park I have stayed in. We are now across the Teton's in Victor, Idaho. Check out the Teton Valley, it is only a 22-mile ride to Jackson and is far better place to stay.

This was a unique experience for us. It is in a marina: even though we are not boat nuts, we enjoyed walking around and looking at them. Was close to downtown and the canal to watch the freighters. Bathrooms were good. There's a free washer and dryer, however the dryer did not work well, after an hour and half the clothes were still damp. Wi-Fi costs and is expensive, so did not use. A good place to camp while touring Duluth.

This is a meticulously, well kept park. It is a small park with very thick grassy sites, concrete patios and sidewalks. There was plenty of parking if you cannot put your tow vehicle in the same spot. Mature trees throughout the park. They have a small pool and jacuzzi. The staff was friendly and helpful. Previous posts talked about poor Wi-Fi: the park has fixed that problem, the Wi-Fi works great and is fast. What a great place to stay and relax for a few days.

This campground is easy to find off of Hwy 1, nears several gas stations and restaurants. Staff was friendly, pull thru sites are very close but long. We were directly across from the office so Wi-Fi worked most of the time from the trailer (but not all the time), anywhere else in the park you may not get it. Showers/Bath very old but clean when I used them. 4 TV channels reception. OK for an overnight stay.

Very nice park to make your base camp, couple miles from the entrance to the Glacier Park. Nice pool, beautiful scenery, friendly/helpful staff, campground is a mile off highway, so is quiet. Pull thru sites are close to each other, gravel sites, grass for your picnic table. Wi-Fi did not work well, could only get 2 TV channels. The bathrooms were a little dirty, but as with any campground if you use them 8 hours after cleaning they will not be spic and span.

Everything described in previous posts is accurate. This is the best RV park I have seen. It is incredible that they offer a site for $45. (my only thought is they sell the sites and probalby are trying to get people to visit the park with hopes of buying a lot). Agree with others that Wi-Fi is off and on, can't understand it because the Wi-Fi antenna is two sites away from my RV. I was amazed at the landscaping and how each site is wide, with lots of thick grass. Laundry and showers are spotless. Clubhouse's are beautiful. Will definitely return.

This is an OK campground for an overnight, but not for an extended stay, right off Hwy 1, good access. Had pull thru, 30 amp. Bath is old, but clean. Laundry was clean. Staff was friendly. It is also a mobile home park. 2 TV channel reception, WI-FI did not work.

I downgraded my rating from last year because I reserved a pull thru site and they did not have mine available when I got there. Also, the traffic noise from the highway seemed to be worse then last year. The south section of campground was closed so it got a little busy in the north section. I was surprised how many campers there were, again reservations not essential unless you want a pull thru. A good place for base camp.

Not sure where previous poster stayed, but this is the worst campground I have ever stayed in. Gravel roads and sites, but the gravel is a lot of rocks and stones, not crushed gravel. The campground is dirty and rather ugly. Was not told at the office about the water; after we paid and set up camp we went to the bath and saw a sign posted. Health department has posted a no drinking water hazard; all water must be boiled. It has been under this posting since 2008. The staff were nice and another positive was the bath was remodeled and clean. Showers cost $1 for 5 minutes. No WI-FI.

Very nice park, clean, well organized. As previous posts have said the side by side sites are very close, had to pull our shades on the road side or you would be looking into their window. Trailer had to be positioned so slides would not hit. They have back in sites which give you plenty of room on both sides but are hard to get. We chose this park, not because of the casino but it was close to relatives we were visiting. No cable TV but you can pick up several channels. The best part of the park is the price, $31 a night for concrete pads, full hook ups and very good WI-FI connection. Did not give it a ten because of the close side by side sites.

This is a very nice park for a base camp: you are in the middle of the Black Hills and can see all the sights and not have to travel very far in any direction. We were at the top of the hill in site 26 which was a nice site but hard to back the trailer into. Campsites are set at 90-degree angles to the road. Wildlife roam through the campground: we had turkeys every morning, deer, mule deer. The utilities are set at the back of the site: if you have a sewer hookup mid-way or towards the front of the trailer, then bring a second section of hose. The Wi-Fi was iffi: worked well if you took your computer to the reception center or laundry. There is a paved bike trail at the entrance of the park so you can jog or ride in either direction. There is no pool or playground for kids. The park leans more towards older adults. Overall it's a very nice place to stay.

Park was right off of I-90 and good for an overnight. Older park, with older facilities, however, the campground and bathrooms were clean. The staff was very friendly and willing to help.

We were happy with this park, lots of grass, near the interstate, good for an overnight if heading out west. Very clean restrooms and showers. Site was gravel and not level. Did not rate it a 10 because I felt the rate was rather high, usually for this price you can find RV parks with concrete level pads and patios.

We had site 23, probably the best for view of Devils Tower. We had a great time in the park: the Wi-Fi worked great and the bathrooms/laundry were older but clean. Lots of deer roam the park in the evening. The staff was friendly and helpful: loaned me a portable air compressor and hose to service tires. There are no grocery stores or gas stations nearby so fill-up and bring your food. They do have a restaurant and a small post office at the campground entrance to mail those postcards. KOA card earns a 10% discount. A great place to relax and enjoy the Tower.

Good Sam rate. This RV park is one of the best we have ever stayed in. It was planned with the RV'er in mind: pool, two hot tubs, small children's pool. There is a dog pen for large dogs and one for small dogs. You can let your dog run and the fire hydrants in the pens were a cute accessory. The showers, laundry and bath were immaculate. Northern Black Hills surround the park. Huge store here with packaged liquor and beer. It's located 5 miles from Deadwood. There is a north section and a south section. They put families with children in the north and retirees in the south. The Wi-Fi did not work well for us (that was the only downside). We definitely would make plans to stay here (more then one day) the next time we are through this area. The staff was very friendly and helpful. You must try this place.

I reviewed this park last year but want to comment on the rate increase. Again, this is a great park to stay and is quiet considering it is near US131. The rates did increase to $50, I am not sure if this is the reason but the park was about half empty compared to last year when it was over 90% filled. We did get a stay for 2 nights, get one night free, so that is a pretty good deal when you average it out. However, I don't think they offer it all summer, you have to call and check.

Very nice park to bring families, I brought the grand kids and they had a great time. Lot's to do, daily planned activities. Park Staff are friendly and helpful. Being next to a major interstate did not bother us, noise was not that bad. Our campsite was very nice, level, with concrete patio (not all sites had patio). Will return again.

Overall , park was very nice. As in previous posts it is not really for families with kids. But I am retired and my wife and I really enjoyed the quiet. A great place to stay, convenient between Frankenmuth (3 miles) and Birch Run shopping( 2 miles). Large grocery and department store (Meijers) 1 mile, General RV dealer (2 miles) in case you need something for the rig or repairs. Did not mind the 25 to 50 cent charge for the showers, I've been too many places where people are not considerate of others waiting to get a shower, and have had to wait up to 30 to 40 minutes before to get in. Charging for a shower keeps the wait time down. Main pull through sites seem to be a little close, but livable. Hook up modem in the laundry, but no WI-FI. I will visit again.

We stayed here for 5 nights and thoroughly enjoyed the park, we had site 18 right on the Portage River. Beautiful view. Full hook ups to include cable. They now take reservations. Park is small so it is always filled. Not much space between sites but your covered picnic table and bench on the river is where you usually spend your time. The fire pits are very close to the trailer, in fact the one next to us was probably only 6 feet from our back corner of the trailer, we would have had to close all our windows if our neighbors decided to have a fire (fortunately they did not). They have a WIFI router at the host station at the park entry, you can sit at their desk or outside on a table to send email. Friendly and helpful staff, and will definitely return.

Our first night in our new 5er. Park is well located behind a small shopping center, so if you have to pick something up you can walk there. Has an RV dealer next door in case you need something for the RV or need to get it fixed. McDonalds and family restaurant in walking distance and if you are a micro brew fan, right outside the gate is Jasper Ridge Brewery. Park does have newly paved roadways now so the red dirt problem mentioned in other reviews was not a problem. Sites are gravel or grassy, we had to level the trailer. Clean park, laundry, restrooms. Nice pool and jacuzzi. Staff very friendly and helpful. For our first stay it was a nice park, especially for an overnight when traveling. Will stay again.

This is our first RV trip so I may have been expecting more. Campground staff was friendly and helpful. All woods, dirt, gravel sites (was expecting level concrete pads for my 34 ft 5th wheel) Also did not read the web page closely and thought they had sewer hook up, all they have is gray water dump. Had to pull the trailer to their dump station prior to leaving. Campground was quiet, had good WI-FI connecton. The bath house was clean, did not use their showers so can't comment on hot water. Overall, a good place to stop overnight when traveling.

This was our first trip in our 5er so we wanted to try our contained systems and not have full hookups. Campground staff was friendly and helpful, however, not always available. First day they had no one at the gate all day. Have a campground host, but they too were not around very much and the one question I asked (about firewood, he could not answer). Baraga as most Michigan state parks are beautiful and clean. Most sites are grassy and level. They have 6 sites that are pull thru that only 30ft and up can use. You can reserve over the Michigan DNR website. They have a dump station. Electric service is 30 amp in some sites (need to visit web page, map will show which sites). Bathrooms are clean, showers are very hot. Park is across a highway from the Keweenaw Bay, has boat launch. Did I mention highway? Yes the only down side is that the entire park borders US 41 , major two lane connecting Houghton/Keweenaw counties to the south. Needless to say traffic is constant and noisy, it does decrease at night and what litte traffic there was never woke me up. Good place to stop overnight or use as a base camp to visit Copper Harbor and other scenic sites, or to fish. Close to grocery and gas. Definitely will stay again.

Our stay was very nice, this is a very nice park with adequate size sites, you are not on top of each other. Park is expanding. Very kid/family friendly, we camped with our 4 grandchildren. Most amazing thing is it is a very quiet park.
